What is CBD?
CBD is a natural compound derived from the hemp plant, a cousin of the marijuana plant. CBD is one of over 100 cannabinoids from the marijuana plant, but it’s different from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the psychoactive compound that produces a “high”. Any more than 0.3% of THC is considered to be a marijuana product, and any amount less than that is a hemp extract that can be used without psychoactive effects.
